FAA Proposes Flight Remote ID-Comments End March 2nd

You can also search Youtube for the many videos on this FAA ruling, Type in FAA Remote ID and you should get many results. The FAA has an open comment reply time period also before final application.

In my comment I reminded the FAA they already have a tool to help assure safety, it's called LAANC. I also recommended permanently adding all AMA registered airfields to LAANC. I also informed them that many hobbyist, including myself fly light weight airplanes under 2lbs that do not have enough lift and flight battery to carry a micro transponder.
