Re: Buzzard Bombshell. -Wing Half Rebuild - Updates 1/ 2020
During the last flight the wing split and parted ways. After looking over the plane it was found that the age of the glue was such it was lifting away from the balsa. The whole plane was overlooked and all the joints re glued with CA glues. I also added a new hidden carbon arrowshafts in the new wing. Very solid wing now. Here I peel off the covering and carefully measure and plan the new half wing.

Re: Buzzard Bombshell. Completion of The New Wing Half- Updates 1/ 2020
I made a close copy of a wing Rib. I transferred it to aluminum house flashing and cut out more that enough ribs. The ribs were stacked and sanded to make each the same. All notches were cut for spars and leading edge balsa square strip. The carbon arrow crosses the center outward 11/3rd the wing. It hides under the 3 inch sheeting and vertical balsa spars. Dowels line the center section together for the gluing. The ribs were checked for similarities. I allowed for ribs to have cap strips. This makes for better covering later too. The wing was measure off the table for angles and any warps before gluing. I am very happy how the wing came together very strong. Set on the plane and it is coming to life again. Covering will be done pretty soon.

Re: Buzzard Bombshell. - Finshing covering the Wing - Updates 1/ 2020
I have started The final covering in a modified new scheme I spent 5 afternoons getting the wing covered and the rudder? elevator trimmed to match with spikes. The colors change have the additional light blue now. What you see in all this is a loot of cutting and fitting the Monokote.
