The debut flight of my scratchbuilt Kawanishi H8K2 Emily was at the 3rd Annual John Nicolaci FloatFly on October 22, 2011. I built Emily for this event last April -June 2011. It was a hit at the Event. Here is a short compiled video from 2 flights I did from that event in October.

Going through some Japanese aircraft magazines recently found I pulled these pictures probably not seen by many hobbyists. It is the earlier version H8K1 model.A couple pictures show the L version modification for troop transport that carried up to 65 soldiers and equipment The Going Home picture of the US captured plane and the last in existence was disassembled and sent back to Japan maybe in June 1979 from what I come up with. I may be off a year though..
