I am constructing this plane for little or no wind and indoors flying. It is a laser kit. LED lights with multi colors will be instaled. Transparent blue cover on top and both sides of the tail feathers. Clear on sides and underneath to allow the colors to be seen in true color. More pics to come at the finish and with maybe a video inflight with lights.

Re: Lil Bogey- Indoor- Mountain Models
I got the lights in place. It was a pain mixing different Led voltages. I made a slight ajustment with a small resistor. I did not put a lot of lights due to the size of the plane and battery space. . This is just a trial aircraft. Now for the electronics and the covering. There is a small video demo of lights in Photobucket with a few Led pictures.

Nice Bob!
Curious, what are you using to drive the LEDs? Are they controllable from your transmitter?

Re: Lil Bogey- Indoor- Mountain Models
I used a battery just connected directly. I used a 3.6v lion battery. I have to put in a smaller 3.7vLipo battery due to space limitations. The plane should be under a 8 ounce maximum weight to fly good. There just is no room in a slim plane 16" long for transmitter extras.
