Hello,

I finally flew my new 4 engine Japanese Kawanishi Emily at the FloatFly for 2 flights. It is in video #2 and #3. It had a hard second landing but survived very well. It is green and has an 8 foot wingspan. Have a look. It was a handful to fly at the meet as the wind picked up and some control surfaces were out of trim due to the radio shoot down the week before that did a lot of damages. These 2 flights were basically all new remaiden shakedown flights at the FloatFly. Ugh!!.
Look for a Post on the Emily with a "Best of Emily" flight video right here in your own club website.

The 3 videos posted with the 3rd Annual Nicolaci FloatFly are the edited versions of over 1 hour of filming that was produced by Jon Bier and his team.. Due to a few errors and the extensive footage it was cut down to be more informative and entertaining and to fit in the video host sites.. I am sure you can view these three videos at your leisure rather than all at once. There are well over 100 video capture photos that show for a couple seconds each.

Here is the problems right now with the videos on Vimeo and YouTube. There was a large part left out in the Vimeo Part #3 - 2011 Nocolaci Floatfly. I had to upload all 3 parts to YouTube also. Part #2 was further cut 3 minutes to fit in YouTube's 15 minute limit specifications. I would recomend seeing the Vimeo upload for Part #2 instead. It is about 3 minutes longer. See below to get to Vimeo Part #2

YouTube Part #3 - More flying and many more many more pics. See it to the end. This one is complete. The Vimeo Website cut the end of Part #3 by three minutes of the video because I overran my allotted megs of space. I recommend this seeing this one at the YouTube instead.

Vimeo Part #2........ Lots of flying. - This link is 18 minutes long and complete. The YouTube #2 is 15 minutes long due to space restriction of 15 minutes.. I recommend seeing this one instead

It was a lot of hours for me to put all these together. I hope you enjoy them all. Please note that if you want a DVD video of the flights and the original footage call or email me through this club website or the mail list you recieved with all the members listings. I can deliver it at the next meeting only if you let me know in time.

I have finished the videos of the 3rd Annual Nicolaci Floatfly with the 3 parts.. I have given out 6 disks already and they were tested on home DVD players connected to a TV and worked real well. They also worked on computers. I am using the traditional DVD format .Vob and it seems OK and the best for circulation. I do not sell them as they are not my movies. Jon Bier did all the leg work filming for the Club and I thank him for this project.. If you insist on an offer, make a donation of $5.00 to the club kitty. I have spent about 5 days putting this together. It is about 15 minutes longer than the web version. As an extra video, I have installed over 150 picture slideshow of the Kawanishi Emily scratch build from day 1 to the finish.
Contact me for a copy. I may be in the New Bedford area at times so I can meet you and hand you a copy if wanted. just check with me.
