Historical Posters and Pictures -WWI & WWII
I know this is not RC related. But I am using a poster found in here to be authentically placed on my RC Plane. There may be some usable details in the pictures also. There is a large amount to look at in here.

World War II is the story of the 20th Century. This series of entries was published weekly on The Atlantic.com from June 19 through October 30, 2011, running every Sunday morning for 20 weeks. In this collection of 900 photos spread over 20 essays, I tried to explore the events of the war, the lives of the people fighting at the front and working back home, and the effects of the trauma on everyday activity. These images still give us glimpses into the experiences of our parents, grandparents and great grandparents, moments that shaped the world as it is today.

5-2016- RC Groups Laser cut vinyl rub-on rivets
Great idea for that extra scale look. This demo is for a large model. I do not know if this scale builder will make smaller rivets at this time. You can always ask on the web link provided though.Bob Pacheco

REPLIC - It was a great Airplane Model Magazine
REPLIC Magazine
I surf the web and I found a goldmine of some nice airplane model magazines. The link here takes you to the BCRCC Forum. I share what I find in the forums for others to learn from. All our members can post in there if they wish too. It is the clubs information site if it is utilized by it's members. It is not open to others outside the club to post in.Certainly they can read it though. Members can also enjoy your material in the Forums pages. Anyway, here is some great entertainment looking through historic warplanes if you care too.
From what I could find was this magazine ran for some years until 2011. It is in French language. I rate it a 10 even though I cannot read Francois language. No matter. I love warplanes and the history. This magazine is about building the greatest quality plastic model aircraft. These are the best of the best. So how I relate it to RC modeling is the old original photos close in for the details of the real planes. The isometric scale airplane exterior and interior detail drawings that make the model. But the cream is the wartime detailed warpaint color schemes that can be used to finish our models into the standout above the rest of the crowd paint jobs. Lets hope these links stay active for some time to come.
Index of magazines: Sample And here is the best part. This link is in Russian. If you get stuck with a word, Copy?Paste it into Yandex translator which I prefer. Yandex translator is found with Google. There is a doc file of the contents also. Download the whole batch of a good portion of the years the magazine was in print. Use the Down load arrow after you check off one, part, or all of them for your own personal collection. This is over 200 magazines from the collection.

These are pretty neat. Bert from the Tiverton club would love this. It's right up his alley. He used to be a member of BCRCC not sure if he is anymore. Can he see our web site or posting pages? He may rejoin if he realizes the wealth of info available.Neons wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2016 9:47 am P-47_zpsravh4pcv.jpg

Re: Share your R/C Links...
Carlos, John, you and anyone else can enjoy studying planes fro their beauty and engineering. You do not have to be a builder, These magazines are just great for studies and applying something found on them to your own models should you have a warbird or even a sport plane if so inclined. The pictures do not necessarily need transcript. They speak many words in a picture. Thanks.
