After a flight mishap with another plane it was time to build another plane. I liked the P-47 T-Bolt so much it was always bothering me that it was a wreck. So I spent 3 days on and off making another one. Of course little improvements make it a better plane than the first one I flew. It is not a light weight by F3P standards, but it helps it outdoors in the wind as you will see. I launched it and she flew straight with no trimming. How lucky. I just had a ball with it. I flew the plane in "0"mph wind the next day and performance was even better..

You can find the original posting and plans for this and some other George (Ampbomber) designed below which includes some videos of each. He is a very accomplished large scale builder that has won many awards. he currently is building a huge C-133. He also did award winning Top Gun- Tupelov and a Chinese B-29 copy.

She's beautiful Bob!
Looks like a great flyer on your video.

You've definitely got some talent in the building department! :)

They are easy to make. You just need the right materials. Order 1/8inch 2mm Depron sheets. and 2 - 1/8th inch CF rods. and smaller 1/16th CF rods 1mm size. Hot glue and waterbase paint or color magic pens. Small motors that run 8x4 SF props max. 250mah -500mah 2S lipo. A small 10amp ESC and some 500gr. or less servos.

The links above tell the story how to build them. Print the plans and tape them together and cut the foam. Simple. Have a look at George Ampbomber with a few of his indoor planes. George made a copy of Lantsov's Mylar and CF plane. It is the best and slowest flyer for its size. Have a look at them. The Hellcat flew good also. He has about 12 videos in his name here. The Index 3 is a real good 3D flyer too. Plans also free.
