Hello all,

Many thanks to those who stepped up and made the 9th Nicolaci Memorial Float Fly a huge success… I’m going to try to list those members…please forgive me and correct me if I’ve forgotten anyone…

Pond prep on August 11th/ mowing, raking, bagging, hauling… Ned Watts, Gerry Dupont, Joe Martinez, Joe’s father-in-law, Larry, Dan Cronan, Gary Hoyt… oh yeah,…and me.

Event Day, August 17th / Safety Officer, Gerry; Food purchase and griller, VP Carlos, and assisted by Jeff Saladino who was also guardian of the donations bucket ; Retrieval Boat and retrieval services provided by Gary Hoyt; Videographer, Jerry Normandin, EZ-up and boundary set up; Dan Cronan; All around PR person, picture-taker and money collector, me. ☺

Honorable Mention goes to Carlos Costa for taking on the monumental task of purchasing, providing the grill and cooking the food for all of us!!!

A special thanks to John Nicolaci, Jr. , Ann Nicolaci Labbe (John Sr’s daughter) and Ann’s son, Marc Labbe for attending.

I’ll review the pictures and send out the best ones in a little while.

As I was away on a 1 week voyage that I did not have any say in the date to make the trip, I missed this years Annual John Nicolaci Memorial Float Fly. Though from hat I see there as a smaller turnout it seemed like all as perfect in flight and eater. In posting the photos I received from Nancy Dupont. I also picked up on Jerry Normadin's FPV quad surveying the flights at Mary's Pond.

Taking note of the very clear and stable flight I am posting a link here in this Hobby Thread. Good job Jerry.
