I did not know hat they were and I am slowly finding out that these are actually a nice little pocket sailer. It can be kept in a small case or box and broke out just about any small pond at a moments notice. They actually race these things.

here is a new Footy Class model made with a Comet Gypsy Sloop as listed in this category thread in BCRCC boat threads, This vessel is a real beauty updated to a modern sailor type of sailing keel and rig. Have a look it in this older RC Groups thread at the article and pictures.
